A real vintage city

Salzburg.

A real little jewelry box, they used to say about it and how true it is! This morning my husband and I walked through the small streets (very early, so there aren't many people in the pictures) and I tried to tell you why I love it. I like it because it is small, romantic, the buildings are beautiful and almost everything is about music and arts. I love the corporate values, the image of the shops, the many places to sit outside and the calm that is characteristic of this city.

I like it because we get everything we need, but not intrusively. You may even need to do a little research. What I really like is that here I learned to really let myself go (not like that, only boys are used to that). No one stares, stares, or treats you in a hurtful way. It's okay if your hair is purple, it's okay if your partner is of the same gender as you and maybe you walk hand in hand, it's okay to take photos if you feel like it. Here the city is vintage, not the people.

My heartache is that there are a lot of wires because of the trolleys (obus), so I can take fewer photos, because those many cords are quite confusing. However, there is no smog, which is perhaps more important than those few photos.

One of the negatives is that this area is still a bit backward in terms of nutrition. Although there are more and more vegan restaurants, they are still not the real ones, especially on Sundays and Mondays. At that time, vegetarians do not eat or just graze in the fields. Or they fight to get into the open spaces…

Of course, I'm not complaining, but hey! Let's catch up with the other cities...

So we prefer to have our romantic weekend breakfast here, and the burden of cooking remains at home...

All in all, I love Salzburg, I love the atmosphere and the fact that I was here for the first time in my life at an opera. A long time ago, I wouldn't have dared to go, especially abroad, because who am I to go to such a posh place? It was a great experience to shed my anxiety. It seems that I'm really at home here (they don't want to get my head in Ikea if I happen to look at someone)...

if you haven't been here yet, I can only recommend that you check it out. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about...
