I'm not giving away a big secret when I say: I love Christmas! But even more the period before it, which follows after Halloween. We are slowly, slowly preparing for this holiday. Every year, with more and more accessories and more and more patience as the years go by. why would we be in a hurry? After all, the point is to calm down, to live the small, beautiful moments, to pay attention to each other and to practice patience. I'm actually writing this for myself, aren't I?
The spooky season, which we closed in an amusement park on October 31, has passed. It was a phenomenal experience, especially surviving the horror hotel. It wasn't possible to record, I wouldn't have been able to. It was a terribly shocking experience for me (let's say I have a smooth - let's call it - ghost train, it also evokes fear from the early 1900s, then what can I say about a completely lifelike horror movie-like set, with equally lifelike characters, in the dark, with terrifying sounds (by the way, the sounds can also be to achieve the roughest effects, let's think of the munchies-haha)? So the 1st of November already started with complete calmness, and from the second we were already buzzing with the Christmas spirit...
Of course, it's still autumn, and it's terribly hot, which is not at all normal for the middle and end of the season, but anyway, that's another topic (for which I'm currently gathering strength - I mean, the topic).
Let's turn back. Autumn is on, winter is approaching, thoughts and fallen leaves on the asphalt are swirling. I love it. I turn on the oven more and more, more and more fragrant spices appear and I'm completely hooked on the pumpkin. As a child, I hated even its smell. now? Jeez! Actually, I also hated cinnamon, and everything that wasn't bananas, cocoa, and puff pastry. How beautiful I would be if, as a child, I ate vegetables, fruits and wonderful spices and drank water... Somehow I thought at that time that water bites, homemade syrup is full of bugs, and fruit and vegetables are wormy and dirty, you can't wash them and they taste terrible anyway! Anyway, now they hold it together somewhat. Oh, and I've gone off track again, because now I'm writing about the most beautiful time of the year, not about the Middle Ages, when I was a child....
It is already a tradition here that if we wander into some fabulous place before Christmas, where you can buy beautiful ornaments or some vintage accessory, then we take one (or two) home, so this year's stock is already collected, since we were at home for two weeks, so "unfortunately" we wandered into magic shops quite a few times. My obsession is the peaceful Christmas atmosphere and I love that Adrián is a real partner in this. He sings Christmas songs, he's the one who stomps to the door to get us in here and there to soak up the festive atmosphere, he doesn't stop watching movies at all, our cat also likes Christmas jazz to sleep the most... Are we completely crazy? Maybe, but it's nice for us.
As the pictures show, we are perfectly balanced. We drink wine, eat roasted chestnuts and watch Santa movies. We enjoy Mimo, the hazelnut coffee is finally available, which also gives us a good feeling. It's amazing that we can see the light even on gray weekdays, especially if it has a warm shade, because I don't like cold LED light. Has anyone else noticed that it is almost impossible to buy normal lights? These many flashing, squeaking, cold light bulbs are terrifying. Disgrace of Christmas! Please don't take me too seriously when I write things like this! Let's say, if you have a choice, take home the prettiest string of light bulbs and enter your home with your nicer self, especially if they are waiting for you at home...
